What Happened in June 2022 @ Sunway Property

June – Monthly Sweet Events @ Sunway Property Sales Galleries, Nationwide  

June has been an eventful and delicious month with many tasty delights being served at Sunway Property’s sales galleries.  

To conclude the Raya celebration, Sunway Property  organised a mini-Raya event named “End your Raya with a cup of Teh Tarik by the lake!” on the 4th & 5th June at Sunway Serene Sales Gallery. The event was held to attract walk-ins to the sales gallery. All visitors were served with delectable local delights and  teh tarik during the event.  

On the other hand, Jernih Residence Property Gallery had an eventful month with a Penang Cendol & Rojak Event on 4th & 5th June, Priority Unit Selection on 11th & 12th June, a High Tea Event on 18th & 19th June and an Inside Scoop Event on 25th & 26th June. 

On the 18th and 19th of June 2022, Sunway Property organised the “Dáo with Sunway Belfield” event at the Sunway Belfield Property Gallery. All walk-in customers received a free bowl of ‘Tau Foo Fah’ by Dáo while learning more about the project.   

And lastly, bowls of ice cold Cendol and delicious Fruit Rojak were given out to the visitors and walk-in customers at the Sunway Velocity TWO Sales Gallery on 18th & 19th June.  All events successfully drew groups of visitors and walk-in customers to the sales galleries, where all visitors managed to enjoy various delectable treats while learning more about our projects. 

June – Roadshows @ Sunway Velocity Mall & Sunway Pyramid  

In conjunction with our Sunway Property’s Signature Series campaign, our sales team had joined various property roadshows to promote our signature projects, namely the Signature Property Fair at Sunway Velocity Mall on 16th to 19th June and 30th to 3rd July, and at the Home & Property Fair at Sunway Pyramid Mall on 22nd to 26th June. 

4th  June 2022 – Fuyoh! Once Upon A Time Environmental Bazaar @ Hin Bus Depot, Penang 

To garner further public interest towards environmental issues, the Penang Green Council held the “Fuyoh! Once Upon A Time Environmental Bazaar” from 10am to 6pm at Hin Bus Depot on 4 June 2022 in conjunction with World Environment Day.  

The event integrated awareness and education into games, exhibitions and activities. It also served as a platform for local communities and businesses to promote sustainable living and 3R practices. The public event with Sunway Property Penang as one of the sponsors was officiated by Penang Chief Minister, YAB Chow Kon Yeow, and was also attended by YB Phee Boon Poh, Penang State Exco for Environment and Welfare and Mr. Fong Chong Fuoi,  General Manager of Sunway Property Penang. 

9th  June 2022 – GYOF Workshop @ Astra Zeneca Office 

In conjunction with World Environment Day, Sunway XFarms participated in Astra Zeneca’s series of workshops for their staff with their signature “Grow Your Own Food” workshop. Held on 9 June 2022 at the Astra Zeneca office, a total of 30 Astra Zeneca staff attended the workshop physically and virtually. Speaker Eleanor Choong gave an introduction to urban farming, followed by certified trainer Nurlisa Su Sy Ei giving a hands-on demonstration on how to grow their own food, along with live Q&A. Participants also got to bring home a goodie bag featuring hearty, pesticide-free vegetables, and partake in healthy snacks prepared by Astra Zeneca after the session. 

10th – 12th June 2022 – Aloha Nights @ Sunway GRID  

To celebrate the handover of Sunway GRID Residence and to appreciate supporting Business Units and stakeholders, the Sales and Marketing team of Sunway City Iskandar Puteri organised an Aloha Nights party at Sunway GRID. Residents of Sunway GRID, Sunway Emerald Residence, Sunway Citrine Lakehomes and Sunway Citrine Residences, as well as stakeholders and potential customers were invited to the party. 

The Aloha Nights party allowed our team to bond with the residents of the township, and has showed potential buyers the available units at Sunway GRID.  A best dress contest was held during the event. Overall, the attendees enjoyed the delicious buffet spread, musical and magical performances and interactive icebreaker games. 

18th  June 2022 – Program Trafiesta @ Sunway Carnival Mall, Penang 

On 18 June 2022, the Program Trafiesta that was organised by the Engineering Department and Gender Responsive and Participatory Budgeting team of MBSP was held at Sunway Carnival Mall. The event was officiated by the Mayor of City Council Sebrang Perai, Dato’ Azhar Arshad. Dato’ Jeffery Ng, CEO of Sunway REIT, Angela Lee, Chief Operating Officer of Sunway Healthcare Group, Chai Wen Yew, General Manager of Sunway Carnival Mall, Mr Ong Chin Teik, Senior General Manger and Mr Fong Choon Fuoi, General Manager of Sunway Property Penang were also present at the event. The event was held to provide an overview of the improved traffic management system in the commercial area of Seberang Perai,  share insightful traffic and road safety implementation plans, while getting feedback from the community to further enhance its flow.
